Pietra Quaglietto Anchorage
✨ Hidden gem
Pietra Quaglietto is a rocky outcrop anchorage off the western coast of Vulcano island in the Aeolian archipelago, administered under the municipality of Lipari. You'll drop anchor in volcanic waters with raw, dramatic scenery all around — bare lava rock meeting open sea, with almost no one else around. It's a raw, exposed spot best suited to settled weather, but the geological character of the place is unlike anything a sheltered marina can offer.
