Plage de Cala
Drop anchor just off this kilometre-long sandy beach at the extreme northern tip of Corsica, right on the customs officers' trail (sentier des douaniers). It's genuinely remote up here, but you're not roughing it — there's a bar-restaurant on the beach, and the striking lighthouse island of Giraglia sits just offshore as a backdrop. Parking exists if you want to explore by land, but arriving by sea is the obvious move.
