Plage de Port Mélite

Port Mélite is a classic Breton sheltered cove on the south coast of Île de Groix, where granite headlands wrap around a crescent of pale sand — you anchor off and dinghy ashore. The beach is lifeguarded in July and August, and there's a ramp down to the water making it unusually accessible. It's close enough to the island's villages that you can easily head inland to explore.
