Platja de ses Salines

Drop anchor off Platja de ses Salines, a sweeping 4.7km stretch of powdery white sand sitting within the protected Ses Salines Natural Park. The water here is that almost unreal turquoise you'll want to swim in immediately, and the surrounding wetland setting keeps the scene quietly wild despite the beach's popularity. It's one of Formentera's most celebrated strips of coastline, so expect company in high season — but the sheer length of it means you can usually find your own patch.
