Playa del Playazo

Tucked at the western edge of Nerja, El Playazo is the largest beach in the municipality and feels a world away from the busier tourist strips. Rural and unhurried, it sits where the Chíllar and Seco rivers meet the sea, backed by sugarcane fields and framed by the Sierra de Nerja — a setting you won't find at most Costa del Sol stops.
