Port de Kuto
✨ Hidden gem
Kuto Bay is one of the most scenic anchorages in New Caledonia, tucked into the southwestern tip of the Isle of Pines with turquoise water over white sand that makes the holding ground easy to read. You'll drop anchor among a scattering of other boats with the lush, pine-covered hills of the island rising behind you — genuinely one of those spots that looks too good to be real. The island itself is small enough to explore on foot or by hire bike, and the nearby village has a market and a few shops to stretch your legs.
