Port de la Pointe Rouge
Port de la Pointe Rouge is a major marina in the southern suburbs of Marseille, built between 1964 and 1972 and offering 1,800 berths for yachts up to 15 metres in depths to 6.5 metres. You can reach the marina office on VHF channel 09. Beyond the berths, the marina is a hub for pretty much every water sport going — sailing, diving, canoeing, paddleboarding, and kite surfing are all based here. It has a lived-in, local feel, sitting well away from the tourist bustle of the Vieux-Port while still keeping you within easy reach of Marseille's calanques coastline to the south.
