Port de Plaisance - Gruissan

Drop anchor off Gruissan and you're right at the doorstep of one of France's most distinctive villages — a circular medieval settlement of colourful houses spiralling around a ruined tower. The setting feels genuinely unlike anywhere else on the coast, with the saltwater étangs, flamingo-dotted lagoons, and the iconic stilt-house beach (famous from the film 37°2 le matin) all within easy reach. The village itself has good restaurants and markets worth the trip ashore.
