Port de Sant Miquel

Port de Sant Miquel is a sheltered north-west coast bay on Ibiza where you anchor off a compact, postcard-pretty cove backed by pine-covered cliffs. Once a working fishing port for the hillside village of Sant Miquel de Balansar, it's now a laid-back family resort with a white sandy beach and a handful of restaurants and bars within easy reach by dinghy or swim. The dramatic sea caves of Cova de Can Marçà are cut right into the cliffs above the bay and are well worth exploring if you come ashore.
