Porto di Scilla

Porto di Scilla sits right at the foot of one of Calabria's most dramatic coastlines, with the Scilla Lighthouse and the legendary cliffs of Scylla literally within sight from the dock. The marina offers electricity and water supply, keeping things simple but functional for an overnight stay. The setting alone — squeezed between a volcanic rock castle and the Strait of Messina — makes this one of the more memorable places to tie up in southern Italy. From here you can easily explore the caves of Scilla and Bagnara by boat, or head up into the historic borgo on foot.
