Porto Massimo
Tucked into the northeastern tip of La Maddalena island, Porto Massimo is a small, sheltered bay wrapped in that signature emerald-clear water the Maddalena Archipelago is famous for. You can moor here seasonally — the field handles vessels up to 80 meters — making it one of the few spots in the archipelago that accommodates larger boats alongside smaller ones. The surrounding landscape is rugged granite scrubland typical of Gallura, and the national park waters just outside the bay are some of the most pristine in the Mediterranean.
