Punta de la Galera

Punta de la Galera is a rocky headland rising to 44 metres on the eastern flank of Meda Gran, the largest of the Medes Islands — a protected marine reserve teeming with underwater life that makes it one of the best diving spots on the Mediterranean coast. You anchor off here and the setting is genuinely wild, with dramatic cliffs, wheeling seabirds, and the kind of clear water that makes you want to jump in immediately. Note that the Medes Islands are a strictly protected natural park, so be sure to check current anchoring regulations before dropping the hook.
