Punta Molentis

Drop anchor off Punta Molentis, near Villasimius in southeastern Sardinia, and you'll understand why this is considered one of the island's finest spots. The water shifts from azure to turquoise against a gleaming white beach edged with pink, backed by thick Mediterranean scrub — it looks almost too perfect to be real.
