Rypefjord Anchorage

A rare find in this part of the Arctic — Rypefjord offers one of the few shallow spots suitable for anchoring in an otherwise dramatic, deep fjord landscape near Hammerfest in northern Norway. The setting is raw and remote, with rugged terrain surrounding you and the kind of silence that's hard to come by. You're just south of Hammerfest town, so civilization is close if you need it, but out here it doesn't feel that way.
