Skala Loutron

Skala Loutron is a small coastal village on the eastern shore of Lesvos, where you anchor off and dinghy in. The big draw nearby is the Museum of Refugee Memory '1922', housed in a restored village schoolhouse and dedicated to the Greek population exchange that reshaped this island — it's a quietly moving stop that most people sail right past. The village itself is low-key and unpretentious, sitting at the end of a scenic cycling loop from Mytilene along the eastern Lesvos coastline.
