Spiaggetta degli Zimmari

Drop anchor off Cala Zimmari, Panarea's only sandy beach, known locally as Spiaggia Rossa for its distinctive reddish-pink sand — a rare sight in the Aeolian Islands. It's a pretty, sheltered little cove that you can reach on foot from the port in about 20 minutes if you want to explore the island side. Swim in from your anchorage and enjoy the soft sand without worrying about rocky scrambling.
