Spiaggia di Porto Istana

Porto Istana is one of the most striking stretches of coastline near Olbia, sitting right at the northern boundary of the Capo Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area — so the water here is exceptionally clear and the seabed is worth a look when you drop the hook. The setting is classic Sardinian north-east: white sand, juniper-backed shore, and that intense turquoise you came here for. Anchor off and you're well placed to explore both the protected area to the south and the broader Gulf of Olbia to the north.
