Spiaggia Duoglio
Duoglio is a quietly dramatic little bay tucked just 1.5km west of Amalfi, where you anchor off and either swim ashore or call a water taxi — there's no easy road, which keeps the crowds down. Onshore you'll find a rocky beach with crystal-clear water great for snorkeling, plus a beach bar and restaurant if you fancy a meal with a view (budget accordingly — it's not cheap). The 500-odd steps connecting it to the road above tell you everything about how secluded it feels.
