Spiaggia Punta del Pero

Drop anchor just south of Ortigia's port and you've got one of the most scenic spots in Syracuse right in front of you. Punta del Pero offers a mix of free beach and a managed section with bathroom facilities, with the views back toward the old city being the real draw here. Fair warning: the beach itself can be a bit scrappy, especially toward the back, so keep expectations in check and just enjoy the setting.
