Starehole Bay

Starehole Bay sits right at the mouth of the Kingsbridge Estuary where it meets the English Channel, making it one of the most dramatic anchorages in South Devon. You can only reach it by water or a serious coastal hike from Salcombe past North and South Sands, so it stays wonderfully quiet compared to the busier spots nearby. Drop the hook here and you've got rugged cliffs, open sea views, and almost nothing else — that's the whole point.
