Südhafen Helgoland

Südhafen is Helgoland's main marina, sitting on the sheltered south side of this remote North Sea island — Germany's only true offshore island, rising dramatically from the open sea. Berths here are seriously limited, so arriving early or late in the day is your best bet, especially in summer when it fills fast. Electricity is available at the pontoon though you'll need a long cable, and you can grab water at the WC facilities. Being out here, 70km from the mainland, feels genuinely remote — duty-free shopping, striking red sandstone cliffs, and the car-free island lanes are all a short walk away.
