Toco is an anchorage on the northern fringe of Funchal, sitting below the dramatic volcanic hillsides that define Madeira's coastline. You drop the hook here and get a striking view of the city spreading up the slopes, with the famous Monte Palace gardens hidden somewhere in the green above.
