Uvala Lopud

Drop anchor in this wide bay on the island of Lopud, one of the Elaphiti Islands just off the Dalmatian coast. The holding is good on sand and rock in 5–7m, though you'll want to keep an eye on west-to-north winds as the bay is open in that direction. Restaurant buoys are available if you'd rather not set your own anchor, and the island itself — car-free and easygoing — is worth a wander ashore.
