Cappella della Madonna della Pace

This small chapel in Stagnali village on the island of Caprera holds the distinction of being the only religious building on the entire island — a rare find given Caprera's history as a military zone. Built in the mid-20th century by local residents, it sits within the old military area, now partly open as a museum. It won't take much of your time, but it's a genuinely unique stop if you're exploring Caprera beyond the Garibaldi memorial.
