Musée Saint-John Perse
Attraction· 3 min from marina (175m)
This museum is housed in one of the rare surviving colonial-era buildings in Pointe-à-Pitre, which makes it worth a stop on its own before you even get to the exhibits. Inside, it covers both the history of Guadeloupe and the life of Nobel Prize-winning poet Saint-John Perse, who was born here, plus a permanent collection on traditional Creole dress. It's a surprisingly rich cultural stop in a compact space — open weekday mornings through afternoon, and Saturday until 12:30.
