This small sanctuary traces back to 1447, when veneration of a Madonna painting first drew people here — making it one of Zadar's older sites of Marian devotion. Inside, you'll find a late Baroque altar with a tabernacle, and the church was partially rebuilt in 1990 after sections were destroyed. It has the feel of a quietly living place of faith rather than a tourist monument.
