Tvrđava "Stari grad"

Stari grad Sinj is a medieval hilltop fortress perched above the town of Sinj, offering sweeping views over the Cetina River valley and the surrounding Dalmatian hinterland. The site carries serious historical weight — it played a key role in the legendary 1715 Battle of Sinj, where local defenders famously repelled a vastly larger Ottoman force. Walking the old stone walls, you get a real sense of why this place still matters to the people here. It's raw, atmospheric, and far less touristy than the coastal spots.
