Municipal Tavern Balos

You'll find this municipal tavern right at the legendary Balos Lagoon, one of Crete's most photographed beaches with its stunning turquoise waters and pink sand. While the food is basic and prices run high (expect around 6€ for a mini pizza), you're paying for the absolutely spectacular location rather than gourmet dining. It's essentially the only spot to grab water, snacks, and drinks while soaking in one of Greece's most breathtaking coastal views.
