Kunstmuseet Kube

KUBE is the art museum for the whole Møre og Romsdal county, tucked inside a beautifully preserved 1906 Norges Bank branch building right in the heart of Ålesund. It's a rare combo — serious regional art collections housed in a piece of financial history. Well worth a stop if you want to go beyond the Jugendstil architecture and dig into the local art scene.
