Diocesan Museum of Pozzuoli

Tucked into the historic Rione Terra district, this museum holds over 300 religious artworks — paintings, reliquaries, and bronzes — many created by local Neapolitan artists and previously scattered across churches in the diocese. It's the kind of place you stumble into almost by accident and end up staying much longer than planned. The setting alone, inside the ancient elevated quarter of Pozzuoli, makes it worth the detour.
