Muzej Dominikanskog Samostana

Tucked inside a medieval Dominican monastery, this museum is the place to go if you want to see masterworks from the Dubrovnik Painters School — think 15th and 16th century canvases by Božidarević, Hamzić, and Dobričević that you won't find concentrated like this anywhere else. Beyond the paintings, the converted cloister rooms also hold ornate ecclesiastical silverware and jewellery. It's quieter and more intimate than you'd expect, making it easy to actually take your time with the collection.
