Tucked into Cagliari's Villanova district along Via San Giovanni, this church is home to the Archconfraternity of Solitude, one of the city's oldest religious brotherhoods. What makes it genuinely special is its role in organizing Holy Week rites — some of the most atmospheric and deeply traditional Easter processions in Sardinia. The building sits at a quiet intersection, with one side running along Vico IV San Giovanni and the back facing Via Piccioni.
