Tucked into the Estrela neighborhood, Tipuana is a green recreational spot that sits close to Jardim Nuno Álvares and the Teatro A Barraca theater. The area features kiosks, terraces, a fountain, a dog park, a playground, and three distinct garden areas planted with riparian species — giving it a surprisingly natural, riverside feel in the middle of the city. If you're into cycling, the nearby Lisboa–Cascais–Penhas do Marmeleiro route is one of the most popular trails in the area.
