Torre di Porta a Mare
Attraction· 2 min from marina (103m)
The Torre di Porta a Mare is a medieval sea gate tower right on the Porto Torres waterfront, one of the last surviving remnants of the town's ancient fortified walls. It's a compact but striking piece of history that gives you a real sense of how this port — one of Sardinia's oldest — once controlled access between sea and city. Worth a slow walk around to appreciate the layered centuries of trade, defense, and Mediterranean life baked into the stone.
