Fort George

Fort George is a centuries-old French-built fortification perched high above St. George's, giving you sweeping views of the harbor, town rooftops, and the southern coastline stretching out to sea. It's a bit of a climb to get up here, but the payoff is worth every step — few spots on the island put the whole picture together like this one. Much of the original colonial stonework is still intact, making it as historically rich as it is scenic.
