Eufrazijeve bazilike

The Euphrasian Basilica in Poreč is one of the best-preserved early Christian monuments in the world, built in the 6th century and still dazzling with its original Byzantine mosaics covering the apse. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the complex includes the basilica, atrium, baptistery, and bishop's palace — all layered on top of even older Roman and early Christian remains beneath your feet. It's genuinely one of those places that stops you in your tracks, especially when you realize how much of what you're seeing has survived nearly 1,500 years intact.
