The Apoksiomen Museum

This museum exists for one reason only: to give a proper home to The Athlete of Croatia, a stunning 192 cm bronze sculpture of a young athlete pulled from the sea. The entire building was converted specifically to house this single ancient figure, making it arguably the most focused museum you'll ever walk into. It's a surprisingly moving experience — just you, a crowd, and one extraordinary 2,000-year-old man.
