Tervasaaren Amfiteatteri

Tervasaaren Amfiteatteri is an outdoor amphitheatre on the tiny island of Tervasaari in Kruununhaka, hosting open-air productions by Teatteri Helsinki. You can walk to the island from Pohjoisranta, making it surprisingly easy to reach despite feeling like a proper escape from the city. The island itself has an interesting backstory — it was once home to tar export warehouses, giving it its name.
