Olivastri di Santa Maria Navarrese (monumento naturale)

This natural monument near the coast of Santa Maria Navarrese is home to some of the oldest wild olive trees in Europe, with a concentration of ancient olivastri, carob, and hackberry trees found nowhere else in Sardinia quite like this. The setting is quietly remarkable — centuries-old gnarled trunks clustered in a small area, right beside a tiny historic chapel and just steps from the sea.
