The Brooklyn Heights Promenade (locals call it the Esplanade) is a 1,826-foot cantilevered walkway hovering above the BQE with jaw-dropping, unobstructed views of Downtown Manhattan, the East River, and the Brooklyn Bridge all at once. It's one of those spots that genuinely stops you in your tracks, no matter how many times you've seen the skyline. You won't find a better vantage point of the bridge from this side of the water.
