This is a genuine piece of Ottoman-era fortification, built in 1502 and still standing in the heart of Durrës near the city hall. It's a rare surviving fragment of the city's Turkish period that most people just walk past without realizing what they're looking at. Pretty humbling to think you're touching a wall that's been here for over 500 years.
