Museumswerft

Museumswerft is a working museum shipyard on the old harbour where you can watch craftspeople actually restoring historic vessels up close — not just static displays behind glass. Replicas of 18th and 19th century freight sailing ships and utility boats are built and exhibited here, giving you a real sense of Flensburg's deep shipbuilding roots. The whole place has a wonderfully worn, salty atmosphere that feels genuinely lived-in rather than polished for tourists.
