Spiaggia libera

A wide public beach on the Adriatic coast where you can kick back without paying for a sunbed — relaxed and unpretentious, with kiosks on-site if you need a quick bite. Part of the beach is reserved for dogs, and the sandy, shallow seafloor makes it easy wading. Not the crystal-clear water you'd find further south, but the sheer size and free access set it apart from the more crowded paid beaches nearby.
