Torre della Pelosa

Torre della Pelosa is a 16th-century Spanish watchtower perched on a tiny islet just off the stunning La Pelosa beach near Stintino — one of the most photographed spots in all of Sardinia. You can wade or swim out to it when the water is shallow enough, making the approach half the fun. The contrast of the ancient stone tower against that impossibly turquoise water is something you won't forget. It's free to admire up close, though access inside is limited.
