Resting in Kalkara Creek since a WWII air raid in 1941, the SS Margit is a 120m steam passenger ship lying parallel to the shore at around 22m depth — making it a rare and accessible shore dive. Visibility can be tricky due to the silty bottom, so bring a dive torch and come with solid experience. It's not a heavily dived wreck, which means you'll often have this slice of wartime history largely to yourself.
