Andriake-Plakoma is the ancient port and agora of Myra, one of Lycia's most important cities, where you can walk through remarkably preserved Roman-era granaries, warehouses, and the bustling marketplace that once supplied goods across the Mediterranean. The scale of the ruins gives you a real sense of just how significant this harbor was in the ancient world. Entry is cheap and your ticket also covers the excellent Lycian Civilizations Museum nearby, making it easy to spend a solid half-day exploring both.
