Scogli Rossi

The Scogli Rossi — or Red Rocks — are a dramatic set of crimson-hued sea stacks and cliffs rising straight out of the turquoise water near Cea beach in Bari Sardo. The intense iron-rich color against that impossibly clear Mediterranean blue is genuinely striking, and you'll want to get in the water to snorkel around the base of the formations. It's the kind of spot that looks almost unreal in person, and the surrounding cove stays relatively quiet compared to busier Sardinian beaches.
