Tucked inside the Charterhouse of San Giacomo on Capri, this small museum is dedicated to German painter Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach, who arrived in Naples in 1900 and never really left. The pairing of his atmospheric, mystical canvases with the ancient monastery setting is genuinely striking. You can explore his work Tuesday through Saturday from 9am–2pm, and Sundays until 1pm.
