Museo Geomineralogico Naturalistico

This small but surprisingly rich natural history museum in La Maddalena houses around 300 specimens — rocks, minerals, fossils, and beach sands drawn largely from the local archipelago and Sardinian territory. It's a genuine deep-dive into what's actually underneath the granite landscapes and turquoise waters you've been admiring. A great stop if you want to understand the geology that shapes this corner of the Mediterranean.
