About this boat

This new Aventura 45 will be available on our nautical base in May 2025. The exterior saloon is incredible with its comfortable seating ideally arranged around a table that can accommodate up to 12 guests, its staircase allowing direct access to the roof, its sunbathing/relaxation area, its vast storage spaces and its integrated plancha; it became the reference in the under 50 feet segment! Inside, the layout and ergonomics have been exceptionally well thought out by architect Samer LASTA, resulting in a comfortable saloon for 8 to 10 guests, a complete galley with a 585l fridge/freezer, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and finally, a navigation area integrating the Empir-Bus electrical management system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~150 HP engines burn roughly 12 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 252 L ≈ €491 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in France?
No formal licence is legally required to skipper a bareboat sailing yacht, though charter companies expect a sailing résumé and usually an ICC or equivalent.
What condition should we leave the boat in at the end?
Before returning, please empty the boat of all personal items, take out the kitchen and bathroom rubbish, wash and dry the dishes and put them away, and place the bedding in the dedicated laundry bag with sheets and mattress protectors kept separate from towels. You will also need to fill the water tank and empty the black water tank.
Can we empty the black water tank in the harbour?
No, emptying the black water tank in the harbour is strictly forbidden and can result in a fine. Please use the pump-out service available in some ports instead.
What kind of luggage should we bring?
Please bring soft bags rather than hard suitcases, which are too bulky to store on board.
What happens if there is a technical problem while we are out?
Our boats are carefully prepared, but if a technical incident does occur we commit to intervening within a few hours of your call to the base, provided it is during working hours (8am to 5pm local time) and you are close to our coast. If you are further away, we will work out a suitable solution together.
What does the consumables package include?
It includes items such as two gas bottles, a set of batteries, toilet paper for each toilet, kitchen and bathroom bin liners, dishcloths, a mop, a sponge, washing-up liquid, and baking paper.
When is the best time to sail in France?
April–October on the Riviera and Corsica; warm summers with the gusty Mistral funnelling down the Gulf of Lion in spring and autumn.
